Can Globalisation Save Itself?

Book-image-radix

Is globalisation the source of prosperity for billions? Or a driver of increasing inequality, poor wages, a deteriorating environment and culture fracture? The debate on this is particularly rife on this topic at present, across the political spectrum. Joe Zammit-Lucia and David Boyle of Radix have written a book entitled “Backlash: Saving Globalisation From Itself” – but Radix thought it even better to move the debate to Liverpool and this year’s Labour conference. There we will discuss, with an esteemed panel, this key topic of our age.
